Summer Venue & Schedule Update

Beginning May 19, 2026, all Lancaster Fencing Academy activities will be held at:

Lancaster Country Day School, Buckwalter Gym
725 Hamilton Road
Lancaster, PA 17603

This temporarily replaces our previous location at Church of the Apostles.

Please review the updated schedule and directions below before attending.

Updated Summer Schedule


Tuesday: 6-9 pm

Thursday: 6-9 pm

Experience Foil Class Tuesday 7-8pm

Experience Saber Class Tuesday 6-7pm

Experience Epee: TBD

(Open bouting and lessons are scheduled for 6-9pm Tuesday and Thursday)

Driving Directions to LCDS Buckwalter Gym

From Route 30:

  1. Take the Harrisburg Pike / PA-462 exit toward Lancaster.

  2. Follow Harrisburg Pike east toward Lancaster.

  3. Turn onto Hamilton Road.

  4. Continue on Hamilton Road and look for Lancaster Country Day School on your right.

  5. Enter campus at the Buckwalter Gym / Athletic Facilities entrance (follow LFA signs if posted).

From Route 283 Eastbound (coming from Harrisburg / Elizabethtown)

  1. Follow Pennsylvania Route 283 east toward Lancaster.

  2. Take the exit for PA-741 East / Rohrerstown Road toward Millersville.

  3. Turn left onto Rohrerstown Road / PA-741 East at the end of the ramp.

  4. Continue approximately 1.5 miles.

  5. Turn right onto Hamilton Road.

  6. Continue on Hamilton Road about 0.5 mile.

  7. Look for Lancaster Country Day School on your left.

  8. Enter at the Buckwalter Gym / Athletic Facilities entrance (follow Lancaster Fencing Academy signs).

Once on Campus

  1. Follow signs toward Athletic Facilities / Buckwalter Gymnasium.

  2. Parking is available in the gym parking lot adjacent to the building.

  3. Enter through the Gym Entrance (not the academic buildings).

  4. Lancaster Fencing Academy signs will direct you inside.
